Everyone's recovery time is different for this operation and it also depends how much work is done. There is no standard rule that you are back on your feet in a few days or week or two.

Also, make sure you understand upfront that if they do find endo, how are they going to remove it. Ie, cutting it our or laser gun. Some people have prefence for one over the other as there is fors and againist for both of them.
