    Will keep my fingers crossed!!

Have you taken anything? has it worked?

I called the specialist today myself, and i made an appointment to see her on august 5th. Still a long way off, but at least i know i will be seeing someone definatly, hopefully it will help me to get through til then!
Definatly sorry that i let the referring doctor talk me into going public rather than private.. maybe things could have been moving a bit faster !

    Hope you feel better xx

    Thank you!

No i haven't taken anything, i'm feeling a bit better now after having some lunch.

I'm going to make an appointment today for my doctor and just double check that everything that i am feeling is normal.

I hope your appointment goes well! xx

Aww thank you that is so sweet!

I am so grateful to have met other ladies going through what I am going through, without all of your advice and your stories I wouldn't be coping. Since coming on here i feel like a huge weight has been lifted off me, i told a few friends and my family but none of them could tell me anything that made me feel better but hearing each of your stories has given me the strength and the hope to keep going on and I dont feel so sorry for myself.

Thank you all so much!! xxxx

    Hi hun,
Don't give up hope, I am 24 and got diagnosed as having PCOS 6 months ago and I am now 4 months pregnant.
PCOS doesn't mean that you can't or won't fall pregnant.
I was going through IUI (Artificial insemination because I am gay and in a same sex relationsip) for 2 years and just after our 3rd attempt(6 mths ago) was told I had PCOS. I was 105kgs lost 5 kilograms, took my metformin for a month and started clomid (a tablet to make you ovulate) and the very next attempt fell pregnant, so yes it is possible
Keep your chin up. its nothing major Just another one of lifes little obsticles

    Hey Bee84.

Sorry for the late reply! Thank you so much that is so sweet! <3

I am coming to terms with it but now the metformin is making me sick so its making me all depressed again. I woke up this morning with the worst nausea i was dry heaving i had some breakfast but i still feel the same. Though i did start the pill on wednesday so it could be that the headaches are the worst i had bit of a nanna nap yesterday afternoon i just felt if i didn't lie down i was going to fall down.

Has anyone else experienced this while on metformin?

To make matters worse im supposed to go out tonight with my sister and my bestfriend. My sister is visiting from QLD and she goes back on tuesday.. i will feel bad if i cancel so im hoping i will feel better in a couple of hours..

Yes. It took me about 4 - 6 weeks before i felt "normal" when i first started it. Its a massive change in your body so it might take some time. Try some ginger ale/ginger beer and/or chamomile to settle the tummy
