No not a personal question at all...

We have been trying since June, but I have only had 2 cycles within that time. My cycles have ranged from 50+ to 70+ days. Currently on day 45 of my 3rd cycle.

The reason the dr is giving us 6 mths from now is because I have a history of long cycles, cysts and basically the PCOS. And because she understands that with my cycles are getting progressively worse, with PCOS, its not a very good sign. I was lucky with the dr I saw, I actually saw her for my sprained ankle and it turns out she is specialising in PCOS so we had a good chat about it. She even gave me a name of a really good book. So I think that was pretty lucky because there are alot of dr's out there that think "PCO...what?" IYKWIM. I know that 6 mths can seem like a long time to some, but to me I have a beautiful daughter and even though I would love our children to be close in age I want to be sure I can't do it on my own first. I am sure if I really wanted to I could go see a specialist tomorrow and start fertility drugs and stuff but I want see if I can do it first I will give the EPO a go, next time I go to the supermarket/chemist. And I can totally understand the conception/cycle thing as that happened with my daughter
