    Hi there.

I'm sorry you have to go through that =(

I too get very painful periods, the last one i had was extremely painful i couldn't move for 2 days i had to call in sick for both the days but i was extremely heavy (sorry if TMI) and i feel nauseas constantly and light headed. I pretty much lived on nurofen plus the entire time i bled which was for 8 days. I have never been pregnant so i have never experienced contractions or anything but if its anything like that i think i could cope although it was extremely painful.

I have PCOS so my doctor has put me on the pill to make my periods more regular (and to stop my body from producing cysts) and so i dont have such painful ones. I think it would be best to see a doctor, are all of yours this painful?

Try acupuncture... I only get mild cramping on day 1 now and my cycle is never heavy anymore! Love it...

We have some acupuncturists at BB who specialise in fertility/preg etc, Sharmaine is in on Saturdays too if that helps.

Unfortunately i feel your pain too, and no amount of meds will take it away.
I'm post lap for endo and it hasn't helped.

Heats packs and chamomile tea have helped me thruogh some bad times, but i too have had excessive sick days from work because of this issue.
