Like Sal I only found out I had PCOS when TTC with no luck.Please don't think its the end of the world as PCOS differs greatly from person to person.My condition is quite mild compared to some other people as I have no major cycts on my ovaries,I don't ovulate, my period was always very inconsistent though and thats what tipped me off and thats about all the symptoms I actually have, oh I do struggle to keep weight off my tummy.Trust me there are many options for you when you do start TTC.Like the others have said, find yourself a great gyno/fertility specialist as this makes things so much easier as they can explain things to you and help you work through them.
I'm one of the lucky ones who fell pregnant on my second cycle of clomid 50mg.My sister also has PCOS and fell pregnant on her first cycle!Please don't give up, you can come to us for any questions no matter how stupid you think they are and we're here to support you.
