Ok, this isn't for me, a friend of mine, using the same clinic as us, has just had a lap about a week ago, and was diagnosed with endo.

It was all removed/cauterised (sp?) but the dr is recommending Zoladex for 6 months.

I was always under the impression that after a lap someone with endo is MOST fertile, because there is nothing there.

But the dr is going on about my friend being "too young" (20, like me), and says "you're young, so what does it matter if it puts you back a few years?", which personally I think is a immature attitude for a dr to have.

They're also very scared that the dr is going to have a "my way or the highway" attitude if they refuse doing the zoladex treatment. I know he probably would, because when I refused certain medications for PCOS he got very pushy.

Anyway, my friend is wondering about alternative treatments, ones that don't have some horrid side effects, and I thought "ah huh! BB would have some answers!".

So, ladies, all your wisdom, knowledge, and experience would really come in handy! Any alternative treatments out there? And can anyone answer my question... Aren't you MOST fertile after a successful lap? Wouldn't right now be the best time for them to TTC?
