yes i have heard of it, it is becoming quite well known. And yes, can be very successful. In all of the trials I have read/heard about, it has had a success rate of atleast 85%.

The thing is also, if any of you know about vaginismus, the most common treatment is to use dilators etc. However, even after achieving intercourse you still have to keep up with the dilators.

With the botox treatment, they inject it into the muscles required and before any one asks, there is no loss of feeling or bladder control, and technically you should still be able to orgasm.. anyway, the botox injection lasts for 3-6 months where upon you can practice to your hearts content with your hubby and get used to the fact that sex isn't in fact painful.

Some people have required an extra injection for a longer period, but have been totally succesful afterwards, never requiring another injection or the use of dilators.

So basically, I am trying to find a gynae somewhere in the newcastle area or sydney that would be happy to perform this procedure.
