Dear JoDan,

I just happened to stumble across this forum whilst looking on the internet.

I am currently involved in a botox study for chronic pelvic pain being conducted at the royal women's hospital in randwick, sydney.

The study was a double blind study so i am unsure as to weather or not i have recieved botox- i find out at the end of the year.

I suggest you contact the Department of Endo-Gyneacology at the Royal Women's and ask to speak to Sharin Jarvis. She is the physiotherapist there and she is the one organising the study. She also sees patients privately at her practice in the eastern suburbs.

Another avenue for you to try would be Dr. Michael Campion at either the Royal Women's Hospital or the Prince of Wales Private Hospital. He specialises in vulva pain conditions.

I have had vulvadynia and vaginismus for about 7 years now so i know a fair bit about the different treatments... if you want to share some more info with me i could try and give you some advice...?

Good Luck!!
