Question Best resource for ingredient information..??

    Hi,

I am just trying to find out some information on the ingredients in DS's bodywash / shampoo as well as my own skin care products.. in particular the long chemical sounding names I just can not pronounce!

I have started doing a lot of reading lately so all this is very new to me! But I am yet to find a great online resource for this type of info.

I have recently purchased a few products out the Organic Care range and I wondering how good they actually are.. as the ingredient list is still huge. It contains no SLS, ALS, Parabens, Petrochemicals...and are supposedly organic, but based on the look of the ingredients and the price.. I am thinking it wont be all good IYKWIM.

somewhere like wikipedia is usually a good place to start if you have a huge list.

You could also try something like the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. It doesn't always provide you with a lot of lay information - but it is good for checking alternate names etc.

There is a little handbook something like Chemical free, or something like that which is a great little handbook in finding things quickly. Then once you find them you can know what is in things... I will try to find mine somewhere on the bookcase....
