Ok, so my lease is up in August and I really want to move as I feel like we are a bit isolated here, the public transport isnt the best, it takes at least an hour each way whenever we go out somewhere, the yard here is large and costs me $40 a fortnight to get it mowed. But, if we moved closer to the city I could only realistically afford a 2 bedroom unit (in the areas I've looked at).
Am I nuts in thinking that this would work with 2 young children. Currently we are in a 3 bedroom, but the kids share a room so that wouldnt change, but we have plenty of living space which obviously we wont have in a unit.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
