I think it's a inevitable problem in a big family that children are compared from their birth. I often hear my mother says that one of my nieces is not as beautiful as other nieces, more naughty. It sounds that there is no advantage on her which might hurt her if she understand what my mother says. Actually my mother loves her granddaughter very much, but I don't know why she say so. It's uncomfortable for me and my sister to hear this.
