Over Population

It's something that I have considered and one of the reasons that I wouldn'tgo for number 3.
Locally, Australia already has a population that it can't sustain and globally the situation is even more dire.
I wish more people were like your DH.

It didn't cross my mind at all. DH wouldn't have given it a second thought either. I don't really consider it as a problem in Australia at this point in time.

I must say I agree with this. Although I do have 3 children myself.

It is something I have thought about and one of the reasons I was not going to have any children (whilst working in marine conservation). In the end I had two accidental pregnancies and they were the best thing that ever happened to me although I do feel some guilt about adding strain to the world. After two I can say I am less committed to my ideals emotionally (not logically as I still believe strongly about conservation) and have considered a third... it is on my mind though and we probably will stop at two, with this being one of a few reasons.
