    Question Should I or shouldn't I??

I'm wondering....would it be bad to walk my kids to the club for the raffles?
I have no car (again!) & live in a quiet little town, but its dark & they don't finish til about 9.
The club is 2 blocks away. I'm leaning towards no...but if it was summer & still daylight I would.
I'd like to take them out for dinner & maybe score some meat at the same time, lol, but I'm just not sure about the being dark & walking thing....

Take a torch and see if you can spot some possums on the way home!

i would go, i am sure the kids would love to go out for dinner, plus like you said you might win a tray of meat. its always nice to go out with your kids and it makes the walking home fun, you get to talk about all different things. i dont see it being a bad thing at all. good on you for wanting to go with your kids i think its sweet. we are going to the club tomorrow night for the raffles and dinner, dd is so excited she cant wait to go lol

They would love it - it will be exciting for them. Only trouble is if you do win something that you can't take them into that part of the club to claim it - unless it's only our club that keeps their prizes in the bar area LOL. It's only two blocks and if you're worried you wont be able to see, take a torch like Lulu said.

    Yes do it!

I have taken my kids to our local club via pram and a torch - about 300 metres they thought it was very exciting ....
