Not a positive thing to say to my child but "If you don't stop crying I'll give you something to cry about" ........ I have caught myself a few times saying this when I am frustrated at her and very quickly smack the back of my head to knock some sense into myself.

Man I hated it when she'd say that, it was often accompanied by a tanned backside with a wooden spoon.
