We always sit at the table together. I have all meals and snacks (where possible) at the table so DD can sit in her highchair and have some. All three of us sit at the table for dinner - the tv is on in the background so we can hear the news, but we spend the time chatting to DD.

I love that we can eat at the table, as it's what we did growing up and it gives us some extra quality time together. Unfortunately our old house was very poorly planned and we had to eat in the lounge. Thankfully DD wasn't eating then so it didn't affect her much.
