Well for me, it's what's not said that is usually the worry - you know, that total quiet that can only mean trouble. But also:

    1. I'm burning down the house mum (while I was on a teleconference when working from home). The good news - he wasn't really, he was playing with the hose and pretending there was a fire he was putting out. The bad news - there were managers from all over Qld on the teleconference and they all heard!

    2. Mum, I shouldn't do that, should I?

"We are playing in the snow mummy!", said with much glee after the three of them have just broken a styrofoam box (that I thought I had put away where they couldn't get it) into tiny little pieces and thrown around the room.

"Well it was getting in my eyes" was the reply from Miss Five the other day when she cut her hair AGAIN!! It had only just grown back to a reasonable length from the last time she did it not to mention she is a flowergirl in a few months....
