Thanks Jane & Melbo, I gave his office a call and the first available appt is 5th February! So you weren't kidding about the 3 month waiting list. Oh well, thats about the time we were intending to go anyway, it just feels like so far away.

I am currently a patient of Dr Tsaltas, and I know if I continue to see him I'll probably get in sooner... Has anyone used Dr. Tsaltas and had success - does anyone know how he compares to Dr. H?]

Congrats on your little boy Melbo, its so great to hear success stories!!!

Thinking of you today Jane, hope everything is going SUPER WELL!!!

Janine I thought I would let you know that I went through MIVF and found them to be very professional and encouraging. I saw Dr Jim Tsaltas and fell pregnant 1st time and am now 16 weeks pregnant with our little miracle. We went on the Down Reg cycle also and had a 2 day transfer. I think he felt a 2 day transfer was better than a 5 day because the chances of the number of embryo's surviving that process was lower each extended day.

I think I started on 150ml of Gonal injections but after a couple of days they increased to 225ml. I produced 10 eggs.

You have age on your side so I hope that has helped. Jim was reccomended to us by our OB but so was Lyndon Hale. He gave us a few names but I was able to see Jim a little earlier than the others.

Good luck and I hope to hear about your success soon.

    Linda
