BBBs are baby beehinds bamboos. All fitted nappies need a cover. I am using bamboo because I've seen my neighbour use them and tried a few with Leo and they are way more absorbant than cotton or hemp. I'm buying Bummis PUL cover for it.
I tell ya, I wouldn't be doing it if it weren't for my neighbour because I felt so overwhelmed by all the information about them, I didn't know where to start.
Pea pods are pocket mcn's, I use this with a bamboo insert. I don't find them really that good though, but they are good for spares and they are only $18 at my local chemist. The fleece really keeps baby Leo dry even though his nappy might be very wet.
If y0ou are going for fitteds, you need a waterproof PUL cover, Bummis brand are great I've heard. You can also go for a fleece cover or a wool cover (wools are great for overnight). Bummis covers are only around $17 and I've heard they are the best, also baby beehinds PUL covers are meant to be good, but I like the Bummis as they cover a wider range of weight so Leo can wear them longer. The good thing about covers is you only need a few, so you air one out while one is on bub, then switch. So you don't need to buy one cover per nappy IYKWIM?
Pocket nappies and All in ones don't need a cover, they are built into the nappy.
It's part of the reaason I haven't been on BB hardly at all, because when I do have time to go on the net, I'm surfing nappy sites to research the best for Leo and trying to find the best prices. It's so overwhelming, but I'm quickly becoming an addict, much to the delight of my bank account
