I swore by liners with my daughter and gave up on them after the first month as they were more a nuisence then a help. NB's are so little and the nappys are already big without putting anything else in 'down there'
Wait to summer babe...the sun will bleach out any stains...trust me
oh and put the booster on the outside of the nappy, between the nappy and cover...it will absorbe anything..and dont you dare cook your babies bum in PUL overnight..owie you'll be asking for nappy rash there honey. Get some great woolie covers from BBH or tots bots (I think they have wool) or get your hands on some fleece ones from aroudn the traps...even better, its winter so longies are they way to go....knitted pants that just go over the nappy and allow your babies bum to breath. they are great for night time as they are warm and do a fab job. (say's a person who has bought *gulp* 7 pairs for her son)
