Yeh, i tend to agree that i dont think the formula would make a difference. Ill tell you what i did with all 3 of my kids who are all sleeping through and have since babies.. dont feed them when they wake. Try and resettle them for as long as you can first and make a bottle the very very last resort. Give them a dummy, pat them etc.. everything you can do without actually picking them up. If he wont stop crying or whatever, then if you need to, pick them up and rock or whatever until he settles and put them back to bed. If that fails, give them a drink of water, and again only it you need to. I would really persist with this before you give a bottle as he may only be using it as a comfort and wanting it out of habit, not because hes actually hungry.. as like yourself, once they are that age, they dont need to feed all night in order to keep asleep. It may be a few sleepless nights for you at first as its break of routine, but once he realises hes not going to get the bottle, he more than likely will just settle himself back to sleep. But stick at it hun.. as i said, it worked for all of my babies. xx
