I can fully understand your worry, we are worried enough ourselves and we haven't had anything like your shattering past happen to us, we are thinking of you though and wishing you so much sticky sticky sticky!
I am glad we aren't executives (the money would be nice though) it must be really hard for your girl to have to leave her precious family for business so often. The downfall of being a baker is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to avoid food smells and mornings, so my poor girl, as tired and sick as she is has to drag herself out of bed and off to work. The sea-bands have to come off for work too, one, because we are keeping it a secret till the 2nd trimester and two, because sea-bands and dough do not mix.
Have you told anyone, family, friends, clients?
Yeah so far everything has been pretty text book, symptoms very similar to yourself, though we have been fortunate enough to not have had any spotting, we would totally FREAK OUT!
That's so nice that your donor is so excited and into it already, and joining a Dads group, he sounds like he is gonna be fantastic.
We did use an anonamous US sperm donor, and we used an egg donor as well, me. We have been together for just over 7 years and yes this last 18 months have litterally been all IVF treatment cycles, medication, scans, charts, blood tests, specialist appointments, the works...and once we got the positive it is pretty much off into the real world for us, but the girls from the clinic didn't let us get away that easy, they want to see pictures and know every detail, so that's nice to know that they care so much about us, we are not just another "customer".
Don't you just love it when something you've had your eye on comes on sale? Especially half price, we do, I get a bit excited over super bargains. We have had the cot, pram and car seat hidden in our house for over 12 months now, so excited to know now that they can soon come out of hiding.
You are starting to get a belly!!!!! That is soooooooo exciting! That must make everything just seem so REAL! I know scans show a tiny baby and a heartbeat but you still look the same (don't feel the same though) but a belly makes it look real. I can't wait till my girl gets a little belly.
How long have you guys been together? You have certainly been through alot together. I am glad that you have something so beautiful to show for it. I am wishing your girl safe travel vibes and both of you lucky sticky vibes for next Thursday. Thanks for the hugs, here's one for you too
