Good to hear from you Kate, glad you made the dash to Ikea to get cot etc
I'm sure we will all catch up soon, hope Hugo stays in there for a bit longer though so you can have some couch time!

Hiya girls!
great to hear you are all getting organised and linking up for your mums groups once your bubs are born. That would be fantastic if we had something like that up here but unfortunately haven't heard of anything. Anyway, ages away yet to worry bout that kinda stuff. Good luck to everyone and enjoy your classes
Cheers,
Leanne
The Birth Options workshop is run in the BellyBelly Centre and is awesome - great speakers even some who present at Choices. In September we even have the awesome Henci Goer coming over from the USA - 20 Strategies to Avoid a Caesarean Section which all expectant couples need to come to!
You can see the details of Birth Options and Henci at https://www.bellybelly.com.au/pregnancy-centre
We should start a lesbian group in the BB centre!

Oooh, that sounds great Kelly, we are hoping to birth at the Mercy Family Birthing Unit, they promote you guys heavily over there, we went for our intro talk and picked up your pamphlets from the rack! We were like, we know who belly belly is, we have been addicted to the website for months
If you start a monthly lesbian/gay meeting, we are definitely in!
Great to hear from all you you! IKEA is usually hell, although I did have a relatively pleasant outing there on a Tuesday once - weekends are definitely no go! I'm only just beginning to even think about furniture etc, might try to get things on eBay if I can be bothered trawling. I hope you don't deliver early Kate - to give you some time to chill out - but like you I know of a couple of people who delivered early (one at 28 weeks - yikes!) so while I've been assumming the baby will be late there's definitely no guarantee..
Sally - I'd love to meet up but we're going on a week's holiday to Darwin and aren't back til the 6th of September. Maybe the next time you're in for an appointment?
Anyway let's keep in touch.
