Our launch was last week. I haven't done it yet though... things keep cropping up to stop me from getting to the gym... but Pump is the one class I want to stick at for as long as possible through my pg.
Can't wait to do it now, it sounds great!

I'm taking up Bodypump after my half marathon! I can't wait to a) not have to go out for 2 hour runs anymore and b) get going on something new only 2 weeks (not EVEN) to go....

You've made me even more enthusiastic!

Half marathon - good for you! I really want to increase my fitness and I'm already pushing my limit of time the kids can be in childcare at the gym! DH said I should take up running but i'm really scared! I knoww the right music helps though so I might have to invest in an MP3 player

Ambah - I did Pump till I was about 38 weeks and I really loved it. The music is good but they re-hash a bit - the Christina one from last Step - Aint no other man?

I go to Goodlife at Helensvale. It's great, I love it. They offer all Les Mills classes except RPM (but they have cycle class) and there are about 60 classes a week so you can always fit them in.

Launching Step tomorrow - can't wait!!!

LOL, you're scared of running - i'm scared of the gym!

I always run with music, it makes a huge difference to my ability to ignore the bit of my brain that goes "go home now, you've run plenty" "the hips hurt, let's stop now" "you're nearly out of water, you have to go home" (when i have 700ml left still!) as i go. The first 10k is great, the next 5 is kind of tiring and after that well, just don't think about anything you can feel below say, your throat, and you'll be great! I would advise anyone who wants to take up running to go to a good running shop and get fitted for decent running shoes which are suitable for your gait and activity level. They might cost $$$ but they save in knee surgery down the line!

I'm not stopping running, just cutting my 3 runs a week to 1 or 2 and adding in some new stuff, i'm sitting here wondering if i can safely blade while pushing DD's buggy in the park. LOL. I am so excited and frightened to take up Pump though - i haven't been inside a gym (except the pool bit) for YEARS and i don't think i've done a class for 8 years! I've got a friend i might be going to one class with - hopefully that'll warm me in a bit and i won't feel so scared going on my own to my local centre.

It's not my favourite class (Combat rocks!!!) but I do love it. I seriously think it should be an essential part of anyones gym routine (lol - says me whos becoming a personal trainer). It would be really hard for anyone to achieve the same results by themselves.

Hey Rachel my DP is a qualified personal trainer (though for money he's a Software Architect) and he too raves about BodyPump, goes every week. He's a spin bunny too - twice a week he goes and sometimes teaches on top. You should see his behind. OMG amazing! LOL.

My thighs are killing me from the blading last night! Or maybe from the 11mile run the night before. One of those anyway

Just did the new Step and it was awesome! Quite hard though and now I feel totally un-co! It'll be great once i'm used to it though The speed step was great!

Hoobley - I don't really like spinning, I wish I did! I find it a bit boring - I love to run around the place doing "supermans" or "ice skater"!!!

New Attack tomorrow - Woo Hoo!

I love Body Pump! I do it 2 -3 times per week but my fave is Body Balance!

I sooooo love balance and it has really improved my flexion and I have all but lost my back pain! The new release I reckon is pretty easy for Balance but the Pump new release is kinda hard! Certainly gets your heart rate up!

I loved BB when I was pregnant but I haven't been able to fit it in since. It's a great class though, always wanted to go home and chill after!
