    Cranberry & Prune Juice?

Does anyone know if these are safe during pregnancy, especially early stages? My bowels are not so good at the best of times so I'm dreading the whole constipation thing So I'm trying to find remedies that may help me along in this area, that won't harm bubs.
    Thanks

Definitely fine. Cranberry juice is great to ward off UTI's and prune juice is great to keep you regular as well! Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

Prune juice will do the trick nicely ... just don't drink too much at once LOL!

Other things you could try is a regular dose of a fibre supplement like metamucil, drink plenty of water and get exercise, and there are also some yoga things you can do that help, if you're interested in some PG yoga. Bellydancing is another thing that can help keep the bowel toned.

Prune juice is wonderful!! I have a glass of that every morning with breakie, keeps me regular!!

As for cranberry, also does good to ward off UTI's but only one glass a day should be taken, too much can have the opposite effect and dry up all the good bacteria.

Prune juice is also a great source of vitamin C which is important for pregnant women, so drink up!
