Question Elliptical Bike or Exercise Bike ?

As the title says. Which one should I get. I need to know asap. There is a sale online and they have free delivery for today only. I know, not much time.

Oh and are they worthwhile getting. DP seem's to think that both are a waste of money and that I should just get out the pram with the kids and go walking.

The Elliptical Bike is $119 and the Exercise Bike is $69.95.

    TIA

Yeah Nic, that's what the spiel says about the elliptical bike. I know that good old feet on the pavement is good, but realistically with the 3 or even 2 little ones, I know I am not going to do as much as I should.

Hmmm An exercise bike has a seat on it. I can put it in front of the tv Well, I could put either in front of the tv in that case.

Let me know which one looks best packed away in the garage - it's about time I got something new to add to my collection LMAO.

Probably best to just get the one you're most likely to use rather than which is best iykwim.

Personally I hate using the exercise bike, I have had one and it is great as a place to hang things. The handles make a really handy place to hang clothes after you have ironed them before you put them away. Also as a place to dry towels.

I like the elliptical or cross trainer. I find I get too bored on the bike. It is tough to do but you can build up.

It all comes down to personal preference

I've got an elliptical trainer and LOVE it. You can work your whole body if you want to and it's low impact. It's great in winter when I can't get outside for a walk because of rain. It doesn't take up much space either.

what did you end up going for?
I love the elliptical/cross trainers, they burn significantly more calories in the same amount of exercise as the regular exercise bikes, so thats always a plus for me!
