I have a personal trainer. I only go when I'm seeing him due to other issues with the gym. But I used to go straight from work - it was simply my routine. And I was always there when my old trainer was.... so if I didn't go, I'd get a phone call! With my current trainer, if I miss a session he messages to ask if I'm dead Once we overcome some of the current lagging issues, I'll only go when he's there because then I'm forced to work harder!

But the best tip I can give you is to make it your routine. No excuses, just make it routine. Its just as important as any other part of your life. And a REALLY good play list to listen to, comfy work out gear, and enjoy the endorphines afterwards! And congrats on your loss!

Do you have a gym buddy to go with? That always encourages you to go so you don't let somebody down. I find the socail aspect at my gym is great - al ot of mums go for coffee after in the morning and others go for drink in the evening.

Also classes help because they're scheduled. Have you tried a class? I know i'm biased lol but they are waaaay more fun than sweating it out in the gym

i agree the hardest part is going. once you are there it's great...

so i just accept that is what is happening. i don't think about it cos i will end up making up some excuse! I do not let myself ponder it or think about it whatsoever. it's a fait accompli.

then after awhile i can't imagine NOT going lol. it just sort of happens where you become addicted
