Mooncups or Cotton Pads?

I'm not sure where to put this thread

Has anyone had good / bad experiences with the mooncup or the reusable cotton pad? Where can I buy these things?

I haven't had any kids yet but am TTC right now, so should I hold off buying the mooncup or buy the bigger size?
