Do you know what sort of prescription it was? Astigmatism can be combined with a few other conditions including myopia (short sightness) or hypeopia (long sightedness). As what the others have said try it few a few days it should get better but sometimes there can be a few reasons for astigmatic lenses to be incorrect one being the axis not being on the correct meridan or the pupil distance not being measured or made up correctly.
