Sounds like my mums skin. She used garnier face wash but then Moo Goo full crm as a moisturiser. Shes tried everything and by far this is the best one.

Are you using a foaming cleanser? If so, try switching to a milky creme cleanser. The foaming cleansers can really dry out your skin so then you produce more oil making your skin oily and it's a bad cycle. I had similar problems to you and when I switched to a creme cleanser it made a huge difference. It took me awhile though because I had it in my head that my skin felt cleaner with a foaming wash. When I switched I couldn't believe I didn't do it sooner
