Sleeping in the lounge room tonight - man flu has hit!
DH's work has had so many people off this last few weeks with the flu - that really bad one. DH came home tonight saying he feels really unwell, has a sore throat etc. The whole man flu thing. I'm still trying to get over shingles and have just gotten rid of a hige throat infection, the last thing I need while immune system is so low is the flu! I have been hammering the multivitamins, making sure we are eating LOTS of good fruit and veg etc but i'm not taking the risk.
I've decided until his better, im sleeping in the lounge room. I CANNOT get sick again! 2 weeks off work was enough for me!
PS - Man flu sux whinge! They think they are dying! Geez mate, I have managed an ear infection, shingles and a throat infection in the last 7 weeks, however I still got up and got the kids ready for you to take to daycare, i still organised dinner (albeit easy but i did it), I did the washing (even if it did pile up for a while). Drink some cement and harden up!

I hear you!! We currently have 2 boys with Nasty colds and coughs and had fevers for days, 1 had to have a chest xray, I have mummy flu (you feel like crap but no one else cares and you have to keep funtioning caring for others and doing rest of stuff, and off course DH has man flu he is DIEING he came home from work early 2 days and has been off rest of the week, saw a dr who said ohh really bad influenza going around 1 powerade, 2 panadeine 15, 3 nurofen or asprin and 4 bed!!!! So he has you guessed it been in bed for last 3 days since DR told him!!
I feel like I am at work doing temps on everyone and giving everyone medications!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am ready to loose it at him as I have had headaches since sun and bad cold as well!! But I can't take cold and flu and night as someone has to be awake enough to hear the kids!! grrrrrrr

Haha they are hopless! Other night I got sms saying please talk quieter on phone!! And can you please get me some water!! Bed is 5 steps from ensuite and there is a cup on top of chest of drawers on way there!! But nope 2 hard!No worries.

LOL - are your husband and mone related?? I've been getting texts and heytells from him all day, i need this, i need that.
He sounds worse today. I'm taking the girls out tomorrow, i'm a little over walking around the house with masks so i don't get sick again LOL
Why is it that men don't do sick well yet we are are sick we still have to do everything? Really, have a cup of cement and harden up!
