Maybe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? Or low iron levels? I'm ALWAYS tired because of the PCOS - my body doens't burn carbs or sugars for energy, they just turn straight to fat
Probably worth going to the doc about, as he can run blood tests for you. Maybe an underactive thyroid? The possibilities are endless.....
I haven't been doing much physical activity lately, say for the last 3 months. I've been very naughty and not hitting the gym as i used to. But even then, i'd sleep easily.
It runs in the family, dad's side really. The uncles that i know on dad's side plus dad, all can sleep a lot like me. My uncle who passed away used to just nod off on the couch whilst sitting and watching telly.
I guess its best if i see a dr about it. I am so over it. I look forward to weekends so i can have a nanna sleep with DD.
Yeah, it be hard to say exactly why - I'd check out various levels at the Dr's too.
I'm tired lots too, but at least if I exercise I know it's the 'right' kind of tired. I hate exercise...
I'd get the usual run of tests (iron, calcium, etc) but i'd specifically ask to have your thyroid hormone levels checked too. Hypothyroidism can lead to excessive fatigue/sleep...
What about any history of sleep apnea? That can make you sleepy through the day even though you think you've had a good sleep through the night. Although I thought that was more prevalent in men I guess no one ever said women don't get it.
