today will be a struggle though - it's soooooo cold down here!
Drink hot water Like a cup of coffee, but without the coffee, milk or sugar. I do this all the time. People think it's weird, but I don't think it's any weirder than drinking cold water lol.

Cherie - the only time i drink water that isn't icy cold is when i'm at work - the rest of the time it's fridge cold - i have tried to do the hot water thing and i end up letting it go cold! i'm one of those freaky people! have made it through about half a litre so far, so i guess it won't be too bad

hmmmm, i wonder if the temp has made it into positive numbers yet....

    so far ive had none!!!
great start .. but ill be back later to tell u how ive done ...

but the worst part the more i drink the more we pee ... that means pulling down my panties and sitting my cold bum on the cold seat !!!

tthis would be much easier if it was summer !!

ahhh, but on the upside, if you get in the habit during winter Lea, summer should be easier to keep up the fluids and stop yourself getting dehydrated!

LOL at the cold seat - we have a column heater just outside the ensuite door which takes the chill of the "little room" - contemplated going to the closer toilet a few minutes back, but just couldn't do it!

Apparently this is supposed to stop once your body gets used to the incresed water intake. I sure hope so. I think my problem in the past has been I've been ablt to increase the water on work days, but totally forget on the weekend, so never really get my body used to it. Hopefully this time it will work out!

i fill up 3 my zone bottles(750ml each) at the start of the day and work my way through them. Every time i drive anywhere, even to the shop i swing all the way there and back, and you don't even notice it- except when you get to the other end and have to pee. water makes a huge difference doing IVF as it hydrates your uterus. It takes a couple of months drinking heaps of water for it to start to help- but any water is better than none
    lol

    1.450 woohoo

I actually have to pace myself, so I don't drink the water all at once and end up with too much.

ETA: 1.850 now I really need to get a 1 or 2 litre bottle to make it easier..

Well I thought I was doing well today until I measured the jug! It only olds 1.5litre if I fill it close to the brim - soooooo, have had about 1.5l today. Will drink more over dinner.

That's a great idea Jaspen - drinking 1gls before you eat anything. Will have to try that.

for people who don't normally drink water, every small step is actually a really huge step!! 1.4L is a really good start especially considering you've said you'll drink more!

3L down for me today - but i'm not at work - tomorrow will be different - i slack off at work!
