Harry still ends up lying horizontally. He's 3. I believe he does it because then he is touching both mummy and daddy. We too have put his toddler bed up in our room and are currently at the stage where I get him to sleep and then put him in bed. Hoping this means that when Phe comes along he will understand that his place is in his bed. But damn I do miss having him next to me. Even if you go the cot, have it right next to the bed. It might be enough comfort for him having you so close.

At 4mo though, I have this LARGE wrap so I could keep them swaddled, thus in exactly the spot I wanted them to still be laying in. Its when they wont keep the wrap on this trouble starts and sadly, I've not yet found a cure for side winding.
