Totally know what you mean!

DD1 went into her own room at about the same age as your little one. And by gosh I missed her!
At first she wouldnt sleep in her bed all night, and at some stage she would come in with us. So every night I would wake at her usual time, and wait for her to come in. Then one night she didn't and I freaked out. I just had to go and check on her. And would you believe it she slept through the whole night! Yet I didnt get a wink for the rest of the night. Although I must admit with my rather large tummy at the time it was nice to have just a little bit more room!!

Now both DD's share a room together, and at some point during the night they both come to bed. And the few times that DD1 hasnt, I still havent slept through the night with worry!!

Thats scary about the attempted break-in too!! If it were us we would all be sleeping in DD's room until the real-estate got that fixed!!
