I wonder why the incidence of type1 auto immune diabetes remains fairly steady across population groups then? Regardless of whether they are so called western modern societies or more traditional third world type races type 1 diabetes occurs at pretty much the same rate....you'd think in a more traditional environment where they naturally follow a more alkaline diet that there would be a lower incidence to start with
