I am nearly 16 weeks. On Sunday the bloods came back and after fasting for 11 hours the BSL was 7.8, but the glucosurea reading was so high they wrote a whole paragraph about it. I rang the OB today and he is out doing the delivery thing so I spoke to a nurse. She has managed to get me in on Wednesday but also wants me to pop in this afternoon so she can give me some diet sheets and info. I'm less worried now that I know, although the nurse did say the ob may want to do more tests.

I am also suffering from a Strep-B kidney infection which is being controlled with low grade antibiotics. The down side is almost constant UTI's and yucky thrush. The anit biotics are not enough to cure it but at least at my last kidney function test it wasn't any worse. There was also a bit of concern as I am Rh- and DP is Rh+, especially as we miscarried in March. Oh well lump in ms that means so far of lost weight and not gained and I can see where DP is coming from, although sometimes I just don't understand his lack of support.
