teachmum, I was the same -could have a muffin at lunch time but toast for breakfast was too much. I started on B 2,L 2, D 2 and 4 units at night. By the end I was up to B 42, L 16, D 32 and 34 overnight.
There are a couple of icecreams that are low GI or no added sugar, and I found milo was good if I wanted something a bit yum.
