    They are looking for any signs of distress. Apparently the still birth rates for GD mums is higher, but there have been no proper studies done and all data is sourced from studies of Type 1 mums who have higher risk pregnancies with slightly higher rates of still births and other problems with the babies if the sugars aren't controlled during the pregnancy (especially the first trimester) as BSL are harder to control for Type 1 mums (someone correct me if I am wrong).

    My bub was sized at 2.6kg at 34 weeks and was born 3.6kg.
