We went to one about 2 years ago and I think it went for almost an hour. Like you we had no idea what gift to get? I thought it best to stay away from religious items and I bought a really pretty picture frame. I would maybe ask the parents if you can and see what they prefer. If not then here are a few suggestions from what my DD got for her christening: jewellery, jewellery box, clothes, children's bible, books, money box, bookends, money.
Thanks for your tips and hints,Briggy`s girl and Sangie. It`s actually my cousin`s little boy getting Baptised, but I don`t see them very often, she married a greek fellow, and has adopted alot of greek customs, even though she is Australian,I didn`t go to her first born boys Baptism as I was in hossy having my own bub,so i had no idea what to expect, tbh,i realy don`t feel like going with my tribe of kids, even though they are good kids, seems like they carry on with alot of stuff.thanks again.
