No it's 7639 LEGO CITY Camper Van. I just looked at the Friends Camper and it's almost identical. The friends one looks like it has more in it and might be a later version? But I got the camper van because it has a normal sized girl figure in it.

The friends one doesn't open out quite the same way. Definitely similar though!

You wouldn't believe what dd seen on my phone and asked me to make after work tomorrow... Camper van here we come! Lol

The picnic table looks cool. :-)

I do like the way that the camper van opens.

Hi girls, a friend of mine mentioned a lego club or some kind of lego thing she had signed the kids up to. We're just getting into lego as opposed to the Duplo and was wondering if any of you knew what she may have been referring to?

The lego club is a membership. In the US it's free, over here its $20 for life membership. They get a magazine every few months. I keep forgetting to send the paperwork for it lol

I haven't been to anything like that. It looks interesting but I'm wondering if it's more aimed at adult fans of Lego - I wouldn't mind scoping it out but not sure dd would have the patience to appreciate the effort that goes in to the builds

Yeah I'm not sure if young kids would like it. If you search for the brickvention group on FB there's also a smaller event on in 2 weeks in Ringwood, if anyone is in Melbourne.

We went to a Lego exhibition in Canberra a few months ago. DD (5 at the time) absolutely loved it and there were heaps of kids that age there (as well as plenty of grown ups).

We went last year, and will go again this year, DS was a bit grabby so will be better this year. They had tables of Lego which DD liked. I wouldn't go if is just for children's sake at 5 or younger but if all family like Lego is good.
