    This sunday.

I ordered my mum some groceries (she lives in Melb, I live in Perth) because they're struggling worse than we are right now because of her being sick - struggling so much that they can't even afford food. So I bought them a bunch of stuff that only came to $80, but it's a solid weeks worth of meals (stuff like 2 packets of mince, a pack of 8 chicken drumsticks, pastas, noodles, soups etc)

For us, I'm not sure what we're doing. DH was going to go play poker (his excuse 'It's Mothers Day, not Wifes Day' grrr) but after my protesting, he's not. Probably just going to spend it relaxing

This Mother's day will be a lot better than the last 2. Although it will be my 3rd Mothers day without Taite and Seth, it will be the 1st one I have been pregnant and hopefully next Mothers Day I will have a baby in my arms. I wont see my Mummy, she lives in NSW. Her Birthday is at the end of April, so she always gets a combined pressie (ripped off or what lol) This year she got a pandora bracelet off my Grandmother, so I sent her money to buy a charm

    Thanks tellytubby
She's not able to work cause she's on dialysis (kidney failure) and even though we're struggling to pay even a cent off our credit card (10K limit, already spent 5K on it in the 5 months we've had it but it has been only used for bills, petrol or food shopping - we're putting on $100 but then spending $150), her hubby is working so much right now just to pay for the hospital bills and household bills and they're not eligible for anything from C/link because according to them, her hubby earns too much (even though he's casual and not earning that much) that I thought it was probably the best way I could help her out. It was only $80 worth of food, but like I said, it helps.
She won't ever get a job either (at least I don't think so) with all her health problems. If it's not her kidneys, it's the leaky valve in the heart. They can't fix the kidneys until the valve settles and the valve won't settle while her kidneys are the way they are :s So, it's a catch 22

Well, just organized dinner with my dad and grandmother So we now have a full day. Lunch with my ILs (we got her a DVD set of a show on Foxtel, Ace of Cakes) and dinner with my dad and grandmother. Love it!

We're going to a local family fun day that has face painting and fairies garden for little girls, DD will LOVE it!! Mum is staying for the weekend. We will probably enjoy a nice pizza night on our new deck with our new pizza oven!!

DD has done some craft for Mum (cute!) and I've ordered her something special, custom made with DD's photos.

We're off for Amelia's first visit to the zoo Hopefully my idiot almost-20-year-old brother has the sense to encourage his girlfriend to spend the day with her own mum instead of us - mum can't stand her and is sick if seeing her day in day out...

It'll be my mum's first Mothers Day without her own mum, so I want to spend the whole day with her and keep an eye on her I suppose that means we'll be going to the cemetery too - visit Nan and Ianto

Sent from my iPhone so forgive the speelung misstacks

DH, DS and 'the bump' have bought me a couple of gifts and are taking me to the Mother's Day Buffet Breakfast at Currumbin Sanctuary Then of course we're spending the day touring through there. Might have a walk and play at the beach after that and then stopping in for coffee and a chat with my gorgeous Grandmother on the way home.. My Mum passed away 8 and a half years ago so until DS was born it was a bit of a painful reminder so I absolutely love being able to celebrate it in this new way!!

    Happy Mother's Day everyone!! x
