Try the Kingsgate or Enterprize Hotels on Spencer St - they are around $100 per night

Citiclub on Queen S, Flagstaff City Inn in West Melbourne and Eastern Town House in East Melbourne are also around that price range

Enterprize is the one I mentioned earlier, it's changed its name to Great Southern.

Lol - I'm not surprised. I asked my mum and she probably stayed there about 5 years ago. I'm so up with the times - not!

I think it's only just changed. I've stayed there a few times. It's good value for money.

The Nunnery in Fitzroy and The Glenferrie in Hawthorn are favourites of ours.

The Ibis Budget should be less than $100 a night - in the CBD, used to be Formule 1.
