the weather in QLD

How's the weather near the Gold Coast at the moment?
We're going to be just sout of there next week.
Should I be packing shorts for the boys or long pants?

Both Chloe! Yesterday was 31 in brissy and today is nice too, but there are still cooler days too. I would think more shorts though.

Thanks for your advice. I'll pack a few long pants as well as shorts
Since it's mainly shorts I can probably finish packing for them tonight even though we leave on Saturday.
This is thier first holiday with thier own luggage. I'm so excited not to be sharing my suitcase.
They have little samsonite trolley suitcases that look like ladybugs.
Yasin loves his so much he insisted on sleeping with it lol.

I've been wearing shorts every day for the last few weeks with the occasional long pants in the evening. Definitely bring one lot of warm clothing but it's mostly sunny and gorgeous

Yesterday it was 31 in Brisbane and we were under the doona last night.

Tonight it is going to be 11 and tomorrow mid 20s.

I think your definately going to need a good mix of warm and cool clothing, we get a coastal breeze and its still cool in the shade but hot in the sun - can't win.. Night time is shorts and shirt inside but if you go outside or to sleep you need something warmer. Good luck and i hope you enjoy yourself.

i agree with the others - it is supposed to be 30 here today but it is cool in the mornings so maybe just a light jacket - enjoy your holiday with 4 suitcases!
