Which bank do you have your kids savings account?

ANZ just because that is who we are through, and their accounts are linked to ours. Not that they know they have their own bank accounts LOL

Just curious as to what they did wrong with their service (no I am not employed by the ANZ ) I found it to be quite good across multiple branches.

I applied for a debt consolidation loan in both mie and my husbands name to start with - declined. Ok no worries
Did it again in my name - declined. Ok no worries. When I asked why the reason I was given was "you don't have enough history of banking with us" WTH??? I have been banking with you for more than 10 years, I pay more than the amounts due on my c/c and personal loan (which i was trying to consolidate). When I asked if there was a way they could help me to assess the situation and guide me in a direction it might be possible in the future, the response I got was "well, we are unable to do anything to help you for the next 3 months." Again WTH?? Clearly value customer service. Then when I closed the girls accounts no attempt to even try and get me stay.
Think I'll go to bankwest - where ever I go I will eventually take all my banking there.

Ah, I see. I had originally thought you must had poor service with the children's accounts.

I will close all the others also, just need a couple of weeks to change over all the direct debits etc.

BankWest kids accounts are great. I deposit the minimum of $25 a month and after the anniversary (and they take the money out of the interest bearing account) I recycle it all over again. DS is loaded!
