We have tiles but ours aren't cold to walk on. They look & feel kinda matte if that makes sense!

We have tiles in our bathroom..in hindsight I would have put floorboards.
The rest of our house is floor boards other than one or two rooms which are carpet.
It's not the cold factor of tiles..I actually like that in summer particularly, it's the cleaning of that damn grout that really annoys me
I feel like I have to get down on my hands and knees with a toothbrush for it to actually look clean. My DS2 has been a real hard task to TT and he can get distracted when going to the toilet and miss the bowl altogether, the grout is driving me crazy

We have tiles. And they don't get too cold.. and living in canberra where it can get to like -5 and even colder sometimes i've never complained.

The only thing i hate about them is theyre white and so hard to keep clean!!

My interim solution - bed socks! I can get straight out of bed in middle of the night without faffing with slippers or getting annoyed with cold tiles.
