Thanks M2R I think that's the only thing that can be done I'm ringing the real estate on Monday with the facts and demanding the ceiling be replaced even if it means turning on the water works

Can you get the Dr to write it down as well, and get that sent off to the RA and MIL, make her feel really bad that her lack of action could herm her grandchildren?
