Hi all
I have my first appointment tonight with my IM! Very excited to be seeing her again and for DP to meet her.
I feel like I should have a list of questions for her - but I can't seem to really think of much.
What sorts of things should I be asking her? I'm so new to all of this that I'm really not too sure - plus I have pregnancy brain so that makes it all so much worse!
Your advice would be much appreciated!

I still forget the one question I have every time I see my MW!
I can't remember what I asked my midwife. I got more into the personal side of things just to see if we'd meld, IYKWIM. I wanted to know my MW was not just going to support my decisions because that's her job, but actually have the same beliefs etc. Moved into protocols in the later appointments. Sadly she left (I'm on a community midwifery program) but my new MW is also a good fit.

Aimz: yay for the first appt!! so exciting! questions and discussions will come! you guys will chat and bit by bit it all comes out. she will have some basic questions for you no doubt (pregnancy history, allergies, date of LMP etc etc) and that will help facilitate discussion. she might ask what you would like for the homebirth (ie waterbirth etc). so exciting!!!
