You're so right, Jennifer. This is very much different than my other 3.

I think it's at least started now so I am not stressing about the unknowns.

I had mw appt this morning. Baby in awesome position! Yay. Have kept up the wrapping lately and added in some belly dancing (well hip wiggling anyway), and it seems to be making it easier for baby to get in a good spot.

Hoping for Monday or Friday next week. Will be nice if i can aim for when kids are asleep or one is at kinder, but happy to go when bub and body decide.

i love the feeling of well being and security i get after talking to my mw.

Awesome, HotI My mw has gone OS for 3 weeks!
I'm sure your small people will be fine Chatting with my mw last week (the day before she flew out) about my kids and having a support person for them, we decided that they should be fine. The youngest, DD, is going to be 4.5yo and DS is 7.5 - they've both watched DDs birth heaps of times and DS was there. Even if it's the middle of the night and we wake them up, they're old enough to deal with the situation and be there, wide-eyed and self-sufficient while it all unfolds. If it's a school day birth then it will just be DD and she takes direction very well.
The thing is, one of my closest friends who is near who I'd want around for the kids and to take pics is scared of driving! She's five mins down the road and even though it's a straight enough drive from her place (unlike when we lived at the farm and it was a windy road to the shed) I know she'll baulk at the idea of driving on short notice to my place. So, I'm still unsure as to whether I even ask her to play that part or if we just assume our kids will be ok. However, if it IS a school day, and especially if it is a school AND kinder day birth we'll need someone to collect the kids and bring them home. I might need to ask another friend who is adept at fitting a seat for a 4yo last minute who may be able to leave work just for such an occasion - she works in the town the kids would be and the only other person I could think of having around, even if she were just dropping the kids off and settling them in before going back to work. Hmmm...decisions!
I'm going to be optimistic about Special's absence from BB today...

We had a baby!! Little Pixel (not his real name) was born at 5:27am in the water right into our arms.
My labour didn't even really start until after midnight.
About 3:30am (24 hours after waters broke) my Sister started helping me through contractions. I woke my midwife up about 4:15am.
Matthew was awesome as he always has been for births. It was our first water birth and as soon as my Midwife said it's fine to get in, I jumped in and he jumped in too. That's basically when I started pushing.
He took more pushes than my others I think, but it was still just a matter of minutes which I am told is good. From my perspective, it hurt.

Everyone is well, super tired. My thoughts are jumbled but thank you all for the supper. It really helped me last night.

Woohoo special! That's awesome! Well done mamma and enjoy your baby moon!

Not sure how I feel about there only being two more names on that list before mine..... It all seems to close! I had a Mw appointment today which was lovely. I think this baby has been breech up till now. Not sure if he changed yesterday. Not worried either way, although it will change things in the end. I have had a funny feeling about this baby being breech right from the start. So we will just see if my intuition is spot on or slightly skewif

Bella, if you think that's freaky...I've got one name before mine on the list!
HotI, how are you feeling? You're at the top of the list, that's gotta help you feel much, much closer to the conclusion of this particular chapter?
