    Hello ladies,

So, i find myself back in here again! I got my BFP yesterday after my last m/c in June.

I went to my GP this morning and left very disappointed! I won't go into details but one of the things she said to me just before i left was

"Where would you like to have the baby"
Me- "Well if possible i'd like to have another homebirth"
Her- "Well i highly recommend you don't"
    Me- "Why is that?"
Her- "The rates for neonatal deaths are huge compared to hospital births yada yada yada..."

Awesome. I am going to a different GP on Tuesday. There is a possibility that i won't be accepted into the CMPWA this time as i had a PPH with my last birth, then retained placenta, then the missed m/c, then retained "products" after that THEN another hemorrage after the D&C. But i have my fingers and toes crossed and have been promised by my midwife that she will be there for me whether i birth at home or not

I think i know most of you but i look forward to getting to know those who i don't know!

Oh and good luck Meow!! How exciting!!!

    xx

Thankyou so much Ladies! I am so so happy to be back here, believe me!

Another thing my GP said was "This is a very precious pregnancy (as others have ended in miscarriage) so we don't want to go and risk the baby by having a homebirth"

Oh, don't even get me started!!! Grrrrrrr! I was furious when i left!

Can someone link my some stats? Just want to reassure myself after that horrible visit!

    xx

Bah, that's the same crap some OBs pull on women who've been through IVF when they tell them they sould get induced early or have a c/s just to be sure
