i was induced only with gel. second lot went in at 10.30pm and by 1.00am i was in active labour (waters broke on their own at 12.50am) and DD was born at 8am. But yes you are right, the "route followed" was to be Gels to soften cervix, then AROM, then synto drip....but my DD had other ideas
